Heritage Days 2022
3 hour timed live-painting as part of Heritage Days painting competition. The prompt was “Grande Prairie Alberta Landscape”. I tried to incorporate imagery sourced from the Provincial Archives of Alberta. I feel fortunate to have sourced a photo of a Dog riding a horse! This intuitive painting was awarded #1.

Pysanky for Peace Fundraiser
6’ Tall pysanky painted over the course of a week in support of Ukrainian Canadian Social Services.
This pysanky draws inspiration from my western Ukrainian Heritage. Invoking ancient symbolism as a talismen of support for those fighting for Ukraine.
This 6’ tall pysanka raised $900 for Ukrainian Canadian Social Services!
RAinbow Queen Mural
Painted in a parkade over the course of a week in Edmonton’s “Louvre at Century Park”. My process for this piece was entirely intuitive.
Varscona theatre mural internship
Created as part of an internship at NextFest with Muralist Jill Stanton as Mentor. Jill had me prep the walls. As the internship progressed, Jill was generous enough to allow me a corner of my own to work on.
